" DCS helped me celebrate my 16th birthday, and I have seen how people of different ages, ethnicities and personalities can get along with each other and help each other out. I haven't just learned about dolls with this group, I have learned about unity and support."

"what DCS means to me: a family of doll makers and editors that really care about each other and the world around them. in DCS, for some reason it's not just a hobby, it's not just pixels on a screen ... when i put out my RAWA
"burqa" challenge
to several dollz groups, guess where all of the submissions have come from so far? that's right, DCS! for some reason -- and i'd have to say it's our magical Mystic's good vibes rubbing off on everyone she meets l -- DCS members don't hesitate when asked to give support ... they rise to challenges for social causes, they organize holiday fun for everyone, and they ask for and give support to each other. i'm very thankful to have found a group like DCS! it reminds me of a good old fashioned sorority, you know, the kind where the friendships last a lifetime and you can always count on at least one person to listen to you when you need to cry, or vent, or celebrate. "DCS has been like a warm blanket to me. It is a place where I belong, where I feel sheltered by the friendships I have established therein. I have had the opportunity to make new friends with people from all over the globe. From the UK to Sweden!!! It has been a wonderful 5 months for me and I hope that I will one day be able to say it has been a wonderful 5 years! I only hope everyone can experience the kind of friendships I've made while here."

"i am a person with many mental problems that makes it hard for me to understand the written words sometimes. i take many many drugs for my major depression and other mental problems. i am often unsure of what people are talking about so i have to ask and re-ask again to make sure i understand. i don't know how to make dolls and with my mind slipping more each day as with my health {i have been homebound for 10 years now} i don't think i will learn. i am so aware of all you guys who make these great dolls. you have such talent and i applaude you each and every one. i hope i can stay even though my ability is lacking. i have each and every one of you in my heart. DCS to me is all of you. your tempers. your problems. your fun. your laughter. but most of all your hearts. i am proud to be a part of the DCS"
