**Beginner's Guide**

So... now that you have joined, what do you do?

This whole DCS concept is a totally new, so please note that we are all trying to figure it out as we go along, so dont' worry if you have no idea what you're doing, we're all learning here! That's what happens when you start something new. :)

THE FIRST THING to do is get your registry! You can view and pick it up HERE. You will need to make sure that the image tag in the HTML looks like this:

<img src="image.jpg"> is pointing to the right *directory* that means, folder where your images are at, like many people use *images* so it should be something like: <img src="images/image.jpg"> Now I know Homestead uses *FILES* instead of images. This is something you will have to figure out yourself, but if you cannot, please email me and I will help you! I speak, read and write fluent HTML, but if I cannot fix it I will find someone who can!

ALL RING FRAGMENTS WILL BE CHECKED WEEKLY so be sure all URLS are correct on RINGSURF!

PLEASE be sure that you go back to ringsurf and update your site's info, if you place the webring on a different page. If you do not let Ringsurf know where you have the webring, when I check the sites, it'll say you do NOT have the webring onyour page and will place you in the queque, and I *REALLY* do not have time to hunt for webrings, or edit everyone's sites. I will do it once in a while, but if I see everyone taking practice to this, I will just start deleting sites. :(

I am always here to help! Please DO ASK!!! Really I do not mind, and no questions are dumb, etc, please!! I dont want anyone stressing over something that is supposed to be fun!

Ok, so now you have your registry and webring ... what next?

Friend, you need a doll! A doll so unique and so *YOU* no one could ever mistake it for another! This is your chance to be creative! If you can make your own doll, please *DO SO*, but if you cannot or would like us to make one, WE CAN DO THAT TOO!!~~ PLEASE DO be as specific as possible, we will do our BEST to grant your wishes!

PLEASE be sure to include a link to your guestbook, and homepage, so when people visit your site they can sign your guestbook and visit your site to get to know you better!

So, ok you now have the registry, the ring and the doll, now what?

Well, it's time to make new friends :)

Begin by looking through the members sites and surfing our webring :), some DCS members have made special sites and offer many things, so if you wish to add anything to your site, like special dolls, gifts or whatever, go ahead!

TO TRADE YOUR DOLL, and this is the tricky part..lol... go to the WHO IS TRADING page and click away!! This site contains links to everyone's DCS Registries, so you will find them quickly. NOT everyone who is on DCS is *trading*, so if you do not see your name up there, you need to let someone know! Until members get their registries up, they cannot trade, but there are plenty of members to easily fill up one registry, so dont' worry!!

If you are still stuck and need something answered, please go by our CHAT room HERE and see when the beginner's chats are scheduled so you can chat live with one of our STAFF. OR you may use our FAQ service HERE to ask a qeustion or search for answers to questions taht have already been asked. :)

This site will forever be under contruction. There is NO WAY I could ever have enough time to get all my ideas down and keep this updated! And I have VOWED to keep this updated! *BUT* will add more ideas as they are *born*, and I have to have some fun too!!~~ So please be patient!~~

Also, I am known as Typo queen. Yes, I try, but once in a while you will find them, overlook them *please* lol, and I will overlook any broken images you might have on your site. :)
